Applicant Privacy Notice
Silver Lining Serenity Care LLC
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Silver Lining Serenity Care LLC ("SLSC," "we," "us") respects the privacy of everyone who applies to work with us. This notice explains what personal information we collect from job applicants, how we use it, who we share it with, and what choices you have. It applies to applications submitted through LinkedIn, Indeed, our careers page, our applicant tracking system, or directly to a member of our team.
Information we collect
When you apply, we collect the information you choose to give us. That typically includes your name, email address, phone number, mailing address or general location, resume or work history, education, professional licenses or certifications, references, and your answers to any screening questions. If you apply through LinkedIn, we may also receive profile information you have made available through that platform.
If you advance in the process, we may collect additional information, including interview notes, results of a background check, driving record and proof of auto insurance, and verification of your eligibility to work in the United States. If you are hired, information necessary for onboarding and payroll will be collected at that time and handled under our employee policies rather than this notice.
We do not ask applicants for Social Security numbers, financial account information, or health information as part of the initial application.
How we use your information
We use applicant information to evaluate your candidacy, communicate with you about your application and schedule interviews, verify the information you have provided, conduct background and reference checks where permitted by law, comply with our legal and recordkeeping obligations, and consider you for other openings that may fit your background.
We do not sell applicant information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing.
Who we share it with
We share applicant information with service providers who help us run our hiring process, including our applicant tracking system and, where applicable, background screening vendors and job board platforms through which you applied. These providers are permitted to use your information only to perform services for us. We may also disclose information where required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
We retain applicant records for as long as needed to evaluate your application and to meet applicable federal and state recordkeeping requirements, generally at least one year from the date of application, and longer where a longer retention period is required or where you have asked to be considered for future openings.
How we protect it
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect applicant information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may ask us to correct, update, or delete the information you have submitted, or ask us to stop considering you for openings, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information. We will honor those rights as required by applicable law. Please note that deleting your information may end our ability to consider your application.
Text messages
If you provide a mobile number, we may contact you by text about your application. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Equal opportunity
Silver Lining Serenity Care LLC is an equal opportunity employer. Any demographic information collected during the application process is voluntary, kept separate from hiring decisions, and used only for compliance reporting.
